Hey guys, I would like to thank AG one last time for this gift.

I also ordered a few things while they were still on sale. Living only a few hundred miles has its advantages. Took less than 24 hours for me to get my package :D AG rocks!! :righton:

(I finally broke down and bought tire gel for $15. It was on sale, and I've been having a little trouble finding a good tire gel for daily driving. Since my tires are wider than the rear fender, the stuff just slings like crazy.)

(I have lots of trim to dress, and again, haven't had any luck finding anything that works, that's not a dye.)

(want to see how it compares to Stoner brand)

And for my prize....

And for a total view of the nice things I got myself. I've been working a lot, having a lot of stressful events go on recently, and all in all its a big mess right now. When everything is all worked out and done, things will pick up and turn around. This is just what I needed! :awesome:

Did you just say you have slinging with WG? Key to gels is to apply thinly, I used Armor All Extremem Gel and get no sling not even on my A/T suv tires.

Let me know how Forever Black works, I want to buy some for some trim like the window seals etc as others said that was the only product they got to work on that stuff. I don't care if it has a flat look, just as long as its black lol.

I haven't tried WG's tire gel yet. But Meg's, AA etc. all start to sling a little after a few days. I usually apply two thin coats, about 30 minutes after one another.

I agree on FB. I just want my trim black. I don't care if its bright black, or whatever, just not the "greyish" worn-out look I get after washing.

Nick,
Thanks for sharing this with us.

Nick, I cannot wait to see the photos when you are done!!:Picture:

Me either!! I want to use this so bad.

That storm is supposed to be coming in the next few hours or so, and last until Saturday, I heard. I'll hold off until Sunday at least.

Agree lol, as long as its black I don't care, getting sick of applying dressing weekly. TR looks good on the trim but doesn't absorb on the window moldings etc so I geta ton of runs even buffed if it rains. DG 201 works well but hard to use on trim in the spray bottle.

Two coats might be why it was slinging, especially with AA, it's more watery and easy to sprad thin and the bling factor increases like 10 fold in a few minutes. I only apply one coat and I like how it gets somewhat absorbed into the tire and doesn't sling. I got some sling with Megs b/c its thick and gets gunked up in my raised letters and grooves on my A/T suv tires.

I'm going to work on a friends black SRT-4, hopefully. He has very limited space in the garage, because he is rebuilding an engine for one of his other cars.

But if I pay him a visit, the SRT-4 is going inside for sure! :awesome:

Congrats, Nick!
Souveran is a beautiful thing, even if it's still in the jar!!!
And an AG order - heavenly! A good way to cheer up any day, unlesss, of course, the credit card bill shows up on the same day too. (LOL)
Enjoy it! You deserve it. We shall await your photos of the car!!

Hey Nick, WG is the only tire gel
I use. The trick I have found for sling is to let it
sit for alittle, then gently wipe off access with a towel. After I started doing this method, no more sling.

Yep, Souveran is ALWAYS a nice "pick me up":righton:

Congrats man:cheers:

Congrats again Nick.

I have the same problem as you with trie dressing slinging. I even give my tires a good wipe down after letting dressing sit for awhile. Then again, it's probably my driving sometimes:o

I usually use AA Gel, but I think I might try some Optimum dressing. It probably won't last as long, but for a gallon of it for only $25, might as well.

Congrats on the win! Don't forget to buff black again after it dries.
