Ferrari Enzo needs detailing

Yes that has been passed around before. Guess he got his money worth in safety, drivers compartment was intacted.

I saw one at the Classy Chassis car show a couple of weeks ago in Houston. It was one of the cars in the group I was judging. Such a crime for a car like that to be wrecked.

Thanks for sharing the video was intresting......

i think they're ugly

i'd still drive one though ;)

I can't say I totaly disagree. There are a number of other high end cars that have nicer styling. But, as you say I'd drive one if I had too!

Hmm, interesting that there is no photo of the woman. That perhaps tells us something. The flaw with her theory is that any man that can afford an Enzo probably has a choice of women.

theres pics of her in the second link

the enzo is a car for driving. its not the king of style but it will leave it in the dust! seriously everything about that car is for the ultimate driving car.

Sweet car... AMAZING safety. I would rather have a 360 modena though. That is a good looking car. Was going to Mimi's Cafe to pick up some food, and I saw one with dealer plates still on it. Parked in front of it, and took a pic. :D Weird how it had dealer plates even though they sell the f430 now.

besides the guys foolish and likely criminal behavior, I have seen two Enzo's destroyed already on Wrecked Exotics. I dont know who would insure them, and why would you beat on such a collectors item. If anyone wants to see one up close, the owner of the Swap Shop has one in his collections. I believe it was yellow ....

This would have been a different story had the impact from the pole been square in the drivers door. They would have been mopping him up with the rest of the car.

But could any car withstand that? I think the fact that the driver's compartment is still intact says a lot. Ferrari is known for their exoticism (is that a word), exhaust note, speed, exclusivity outside of predominantly wealthy neighborhoods, and status. Most people don't look at the safety, and because they are almost race cars, they have to be super safe. Ferrari = king and one day I want one!!:D

Yes. Princess Di's S-Class took a much harder hit HEAD ON into a concrete pillar and the passenger that had a seat belt on is still here to talk about it as well. I've seen many many crashes up close and personal and other than the car involved, it doesn't wow me.

almost all ferrari's are designed to break apart like that though. porsches do it too, the engines always fly out. when the car takes the brute of the impact, the driver is fine. my brother knows a guy whose enzo burned down. ferrari rebuilt it for free with the exact same production number and everything so actually 401 were made. the guy sold it though and got an f430

Wow, ferrari built him a new one. That is sweet. Id much rather have an enzo over an f430 though. Even if the Enzo is "ugly" compared to most other ferraris.

Yeh that was awhile ago. Funny part was on the news on tv, the cops said they had two passengers from the car and were still searching for the driver.....must not have occured to them that the Enzo is a 2 seater lol. Scott (Killr) if your around Las Olas a lot you can see the old man (Preston, owner of swap shop) driving the Enzo around. Guy has a couple screws loose in teh head though lol.

Personally, I'm not much of a Ferrari guy. We owned a 308 and 328 years ago and both were pile o' craps. Driven the newer ones and they still don't do anything for me including the F430. F430 was a great driving car but the looks are borring and Faerrari has become almost mainstream with their production and designs. I would take a Lambo any day of the week, just drive a manual trans Murci or Gallardo and they ooooze character. Ferrari is missing that nowadays, look at the pro racers who loved the Enzo, Shumacher and others said they would still take the F-40 over it regardless of how much quicker the Enzo was. The F40 was just pure, raw and connected whereas the Enzo your grandma could get in and drive (though I understand how they used it as a showcase for technology). Theres a guy down the street who has an F40 and he drives it quite a bit, I see him ripping around every couple of days and would kill for that car.

I like my cars raw and brutal, probably why I love the feel of the Viper so much. Same thing with the 993 we owned compared to the 996, 993 was so much funner. Though I still love the feel of the GT3. That's why I give so much credit to Porsche for the CGT, it's like a Viper on steroids, just a steering wheel, manual trans, and pedals....who cares about safetly devices like yaw control, anti roll, flappy paddles with a gajillion settings blah blah, hehe :)

Damn Surfer, you live in an affluent neighborhood. What do you drive now? F40 is a super cool car, but it also didn't have carpet, a handle to open the door, and stuff like that. The enzo is much more liveable... It is a dangerous car, there even is a sticker on it that says WARNING You are not Micahel Schumacher.

I have my Mountaineer, sold my other one. The P-cars and others weren't mine, mothers. When I figure how to get pics up I have one lying on my desk of the 328 and older 911. I road course race so I guess I'm a little biased. When it comes to cars I could care less about livability, I want it to be raw and brutal even for a daily driver. Cars like the F-40, Viper, Carrera GT, even GT3/GT2 etc are what I like to call the Anti-Christ cars. Pure drivers cars, it's all up to you, no machines or techy devices kicking in, they are not forgiving and require skill to drive hard. Enzo is still an incredible performance car. South FL is kinda funny though, you see F-cars, Lambos etc driving around daily like Civics, so much for exclusivity lol. I'm sure Killr will attest to that lol.

I tell you what though, out of any car right now, give me the Ford GT hands down. I went for a ride in one equiped with the Borla headers/exhaust. God damn was it loud. I just saw a yellow with black stripes the other day here , 1st time seeing that color, and it looked incredible. I even chatted with a fellow who has a fleet of exotics and said he would only keep the Ford GT if he had to keep one, he loves it to death.
