Carlos, I done a search from your post http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/show-n-shine/6496-2007-pontiac-g5.html and found this. Question, why can't you get this backing plate in the US? I'm thinking this is what I'm needing on my rotary.

Well the Canadian 3M representative told me that this backing plate is only available in Europe and that it was not available in Canada or US...I asked why but he didn't really know...so I didn't bother persisting and phoned a friend of mine in Europe.

Al, I'd be curious to see if you can get it in the US...if you can that would be sweet.

Nica...I am hoping it is made here and shipped over seas..if so i may be able to get some...if not then I will have to pursue a different way..call a UK supplier....

That is interesting...I wonder if it's made in the US? I have a feeling that it's not made in the US.....very interesting.

sneek - yes the collection sure is growing...and I'm running out of room nice thing is that I'm actually running low on a few things hehehehe. Yup, that's the advantage of owning a machine shop. Made the call in the morning it was done for me in the afternoon..nice.

P1et - I have a few things coming in either this week or next week and I'm still waiting on a very big ticket item so once I have these few little things I'll post pictures of the room that used to be the computer room hahahaha..now known as the Detailing room.
