Good morning, experts!
I need some quick advice on whether or not it would be safe to use Feynlab Pure Wash on a Gtechniq CSL/EXOv4 coated vehicle to remove all the old sealants. I was going to use Optimum Power Clean 3:1 but don’t think I have enough for the job.
I just didn’t want to damage the coating.

Thanks for the help!

Seems like it is a typical car wash that won't remove anything.

BEWARE: I haven’t used Pure Wash, but it’s Rinseless bother, Pure Rinseless has been wreaking havoc on people’s LSPs. There’s a thread about it over on Autopia, just search “Feynlab”.

That’s not to say it would hurt a coating, but I myself won’t ever risk using Pure Rinseless for anything other than wax stripper or panel wipe, ever again.

Thanks for the reply!
I used it mixed 250:1 and it did a beautiful job of removing everything with zero effort and restored the hydrophobicity of my coating.
Not a brand I’ve had much exposure to, but for this application this stuff is great.

Good to know!
I just had good luck with the wash as a stripping wash, but when it comes to a rinse less wash, I’m solidly in the ONR camp.
As a side note, after I washed our Explorer today I followed up with Hyper Seal as a drying aid and topped with Optimum Car Wax. luckily, I didn’t have any I’ll effects and I looks great.
Thanks for the note though! I’ll steer clear of their rinse less wash.

Truthfully, the Rinseless may also be great at deep cleaning a strong coating. But it definitely beats the snot out of anything lesser than a true coating. While also cleaning very well.
