Figures. (pad buyers remorse)

I will responsibly use and dispose of anyone's unwanted HT pads :)

I cant get enough of them!

AGREE 100%, I get micro marring like whoa on soft paint with HT pads.

I won't throw them out by any means but I am critical of what paint I use them on.
I think a lot of this could be caused by the pad/polish combo not the pad or the polish alone!
I'm with Bill and Corey, anyone who has HT pads that wants to be rid of them I'd be happy to take care of the disposal!
I never use my ccs pads, and very rarely use any flat pads. The CCs are about to be cut up and used as applicators.:dblthumb2:

If used properly with common sense you will have any more problems with these pads than you would any others.

Agreed.

I use the tangerine and Crimson all the time and as long as you're not running the at super high speeds they should last a long time. I don't find them hard to clean, but they do take longer to dry then some other pads.

FWIW, The crimson pad on my soft Acura paint finishes noticeably better than black or blue traditional LC. Lots of variables out there...

I am with Mobile detail on this.
Buff and Shine make very nice foam pads at a very economical price.
I suspect Cyclo pads sold at Autogeek are OEM by Buff and Shine.
They appear to be exactly the same pads to me.

From my point of view I would say foam pads are tools.
They help you to finish your job.
Just pick whatever YOU LIKE MOST.
I have Meguiar's, Lake Country, Buff and Shine foam pads.
I just pick whatever is on sale and cheapest at the moment.

FYI last month I bought 10 of 5.5 inch LC CCS pads at $43.99,
12 of 4.0 inch B&S (Cyclo) pads at $24.99.
and... at $2.499 each, the 4-inch finishing pad is replacing my yellow foam applicators for applying wax and sealants!
Are the larger size B&S pads bonded around the edge of the velcro backing like the 4" Cyclo pads are? Where do you guys get the Buff & Shine pads from?

Now I feel like trying one of these b&s pads. I like to keep my options open.

Hey Mark, maybe I can buy one off you. What do you say?

Well then I will just get fourth in line.

Haters be hatin! :D

I am still in the process of detailing my (new to me) truck, but I finished quite nicely on it with Cyan HT's and M105. It is a black Dodge Ram. Some was D/A, some was rotary, both finished nicely.
