Fill my cart!!

Hey everyone so my bday is around the corner and with my new detailing shop just opened I'll be looking forward to some detailing bday gifts :)

So I come to u asking what you think I should fill my cart with.
Let me start by saying I must have a DA, and tell u some of what I have.
Pretty much a large supply of all the basics. Ie, soap towels, brushes, mits, vacuum, interior products, wheel products, and a fair supply of cleaning products.

So knowing that now fill my cart!!!

Get the new Griots DA. It comes with a 6" BP but it is so powerful it will spin 6" fine. I recommend getting as many 6" LC MF pads as you can afford. They are good for cut and finish. Compressed air extends duty cycle. Throw them in a washing machine at day 's end.
 
:iagree: on Griots DA :buffing:, few other things I would buy would if you don't already have them are.

Pads for your DA
MF towels (can never have enough)
Daytona wheel brush (if you don't already have one)
Quality wax
Polish
Sealant
Maybe a WW or QD
 
I was thinking about that da. Just a few questions though. What does LC ww and qd stand for? Also what did u mean in the first reply by compressed air? I know what it is I have a compressor but what was u meaning by what u said about it.

I do have A LOT of mf towels but your right there's never enough.
And also about wax sealant and all that I have a good bit of wax all different kinds.
But what glazes and sealers would u recommend?

1 more thing what is some good pads to have on hand? I think I'll need at least 1 or 2 medium to heavy cut pads and some good finishing pads.

LC stands for Lake Country... the pad manufacturer.
WW stands for waterless wash.
QD stands for quick detailer.

You would need compressed air if you are going to be using microfiber pads. It's the only way to go if you are polishing out an entire vehicle with microfiber pads. The air will fluff up the fibers while you clean the pad on the fly.

There are tons of good sealants. For something cheap starting out i would actually recommend whatever is currently on BoGo or some Colinite 845. It's a great all around wax/sealant (what is it really???) that shines great and lasts for over 5 months in my Oregon weather testing.

I use a lot of LC CCS pads. I like to have a few yellow, orange, white, and gray on hand. As far as starting out those are the colors I would recommend to take your through a range of compounding, polishing and LSP application on a vehicle.

I would suggest a Dayton speed brush . Just received mine and its a must have . Also a foam lance one of the best tools to have for washing imo . Two buckets with grit guards. Clay bar or speed towel. Quality waxes . #845 is great . Polishes ect. Microfiber towels you cqn never have enough of these and dring towels . I can go on and on with this . There are so many choices here! !!!!!

Wow! Way more than my $200 limit..
How much is a hot water extractor?
Other than that like I said in the original post I have most of those things.
Granted I know u can never have enough mf towels
