I need some feedback if anyone has used one of these. I'm getting ready to purchase very very soon. I would like to know if it's better to go with the electric 12 volt pump model vs the 3.5hp gas model. Better yet if it's worth it at all???? It's going into back of this.

Here is the break down

12 Volt - 60psi
Pro's - Electric runs when you need it, not all the time. Effiecent ???
Con's - Requires wiring to exisiting battery in vehicle or use of a deep cycle battery, don't really know if this a con??

3.5hp Gas - 120psi
Pro's - More psi, self contained.....
Con's - Consumes gas with small tank, loud, anymore?

Actually I responded to a post about this exact model.. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase it. Just be sure to have a safe place for your chemicals. If you're serious about it, get the one for a grand, and use the bigger tank. You'll thank me later... The average car uses about 10 gallons, with bigger SUV's requiring up to 20 or more.

Do you have a preference as to which would be the better buy the electric or gas ??

Gas.. a bit more pressure... in all honesty, the little gas engines aren't that loud, and I haven't had a customer or neighbor complain.. Good luck bud :D

Thanks man. Do you have this system ?

Not specifically.. ;) Check out the unit yourself; check for build quality etc. If you feel safe using it, buy it. I am considering selling down.. I don't really need a 5x8 trailer either.. too much room. I am not a volume detailer, and don't do 20 cars a day.
Did you order those rims/tires online? How much did you pay, if you don't mind me asking?

Don't forget about power.. have you thought about a small generator?

I got them from a dealer in California selling a similar wheel and basically talked him into doing the same wheel but for my truck. It was a good transaction. The wheel is manufactured by Pro Comp and so is the outer simulated bead lock ring. I had them black powdercoated and purchased the black center cap from Wheeler's Off Road in Oregon. All together after shipping and all that $600.00 Tires another $550.

I'll be getting some sort of 2500-3000watt generator preferably a coleman or something with a good warranty.

I like this one.... but I plan on just using a pc and shop-vac
possibly run a air compressor.

What size air compressor and shop-vac? I have a much bigger setup, but I am inclined to down-grade, as I am still in school, yes, trying to fininsh up, and I detail in quality, not quantity.

Off topic but are those KMC wheels? Friend had a lifted powerstroke F250 (black) with KMC's fake bead lock wheels in black that looked like yours, was so badass looking on that truck.

Opps missed that post. Thought they were KMC Fake Bead locks. My buddies looked similar, heres what his KMC's looked like, so sick on a black truck! Nice truck by the way, you offroad or do any desert running?? :D I knew some guys out in Cali that had absolutley sick Ford Rangers setup as Pre-Runners.

Nah not to much desert running in GA... Closest sand to me is in the creek behind my house :) Nice wheels though.

ANYONE out there had any action with this FIMCO skid sprayer ?????

Well I ended up with a 65gallon water tank with a ball valve and connection to fit a standard water hose. I'm going to get a Power Inverter sometime tomorrow and I'll be set. I'm looking at atleast a 1000-1500 watt inverter to run the buffer, vacuum, and leaf blower (airwand) from. I'll only be using the items one at a time so I should be good to go. Thanks for all the help.

For any that hasn't used a AIRWAND it's really a great tool that connects to most leaf blowers.
