Final detail of the Season - This is as good as my Camaro will ever get

Agree Don. Looks great! It's not going to get any better. Sadly, detailing is also ending in PA. Been using the flex wax as a rinse wax the last couple of washes. It really does good used that way.

Still using the TWHS line. With the results I see no reason to change.

Same here. Can't argue with these results.

Sadly, I just brought all my detailing chemicals in the house this morning - we had frost.

Beautiful work on my fav color to finish out. I love it.

Beautifying NE Ohio one vehicle at a time!

Heck yeah! She’s looking sharp sir! Well done!

Great result Don, it's good to get that random recognition as well, even if you did have to prove it's age and mileage.

I recently had to tidy up my Mum's Qashqai (Rogue Sport) and decided to spend a whole day on it, the gloss is as good as it's ever been, she was so happy she shared some pics on FB, the recognition is satisfying, even though that's not why we do it.

You're right about the recognition not being the primary reason we detail cars. but I also have a confidence problem as well as an unhealthy "Need for Approval."

Detailing can, at times, be a lot of work (time consuming) and it IS one of the things I do well AND really put my HEART into doing to the best of my ability. But there's that NEED. I think that in the background, even though I ENJOY making videos for YouTube, and trying to teach others so they don't have the same difficulties learning that I did (no mentor, no readily available sources of information), part of me wants the recognition, the approval - to make ME feel worthy - I know ... THAT isn't really a healthy way of thinking.

We all have our own motivations for participating on this forum, others like it, and even the various social medias. I can't speak for anyone else, but the recognition, validation, and approval of the guys on here is good for the ego. Also the knowledge shared, on many subjects, is always helpful, and the entertainment doesn't hurt.
