So today was the last SCS of the season and its been a great year with lots of great cars without a doubt! The weather today was outstanding, 80 and sunny and the crowd was equally impressive. Here are some of the pics I took, enjoy:

Let's start this off properly, with something you just don't see everyday, actually you don't see EVER!

Mazda Eunos Cosmo!!!

I wish I was able to have taken a pic of the interior but sadly I couldn't but I will say this, very "Lexus like". I've heard about this car and today was the day I was able to capture a pic of it inperson, really made my day without a doubt.

Now for something completely different! This 68' Charger was INSANE! It won World of Wheels here a couple monthes back but not sure if it was the owner driving the car because I asked him how wide the tires were and he kept say twenties. I said how many millimeters wide and got the same answer, guess money can't buy you smarts about your own ride, if infact it was his ride!

Rims and stance, properly done right here!!

This is one of my biggest automotive pet peeves, well, along with gloss black wheels! Your not fooling anyone with your fake arse caliper covers, paint the calipers at the very least and if possible, spring for REAL big brakes when its time to do a brake job, fake is fake!

Lancia Scorpian....yeah, a Lancia!

First time seeing the new GS-F but I know this, the wheels are a bit smallish for a car this size IMO.

HyperCars....yeah, we got em'! This is the 4th one I've seen here in the past 2 years, 2 pewter ones, a blue one and now the red!

Yeah the wheels are dirty and I don't like it but hey, its a BLACK SERIES =========

Porsche Cayman...in this color....PERFECTION!!!

So its time to head to one of the premier BBQ places in the midwest and they have this long, single parking spot, guess what we did:

I polished this car over 2 years ago, it still looks stunning!

Hope you guys and gals, emjoyed the pics! I have another show to go to tomorrow and I suspect more greatness there and I went to a show last weekend, the Geneva d-Elagance (spelling, too lazy to correct it, LOL) and those pics are even more impressive!! Coming soon enough to a screen near you.

Some really beautiful rides there. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah, the very thing that jumped out at me is the dusty wheels on the Merc. Yup, I hate those covers, too. Do it right or leave it stock. Don't fugezi it up like that.

The Porsche is gorgeous, and the Supra is done up right. Far too many I've seen here are slapped together with mismatched parts and/or "tuner" up to the point where I wanted to vomit.

I know exactly what you mean about cars being slapped together. Why would you put all season tires on a Vette?

Brutal Noodle, the family is great! Kendall is almost 9 monthes old and as I lost this we are getting ready for another monthly C&C and she has her Ferrari onsey on, gotta get the most use of it before she grows out of it.

All season tires on a Vette is ok here because some people daily theirs 3 seasons and besides Continental DWS06's are pretty good tires but that guy didn't have those, probably doesn't even know about them either.

There were a couple more Supras there and all were nice, we don't see too many ragged out ones here, well, maybe 2nd from last gen ones.

I expect great cars today, have a happy Labor Day to everyone too

***BONUS PICS***

This is from Collectors Car Garage yesterday. I saw a nose shot but nothing else so I expected to see a Lancia Delta Intergale HF, imagine my surprise when I walked into the garage a saw what you guys see here!!! I recently stumbled upon one of these and didn't know Lancia even made a rallye homologation special! I thought I read they made 25 of them but that appears to be untrue. Upon further reading they made 200-210 of them from 1985-86 and about 45-50 are left. This car is AWD, midship and has a TURBOCHARGER & SUPERCHARGER making 247 hp in stock trim but I guess there's some that work it up to 350 hp without any troubles. The engine is only a 1.7L and is tuned by Abarth.

I was like a kid in a candy store when I saw this legendary car, they also have a Ford RS200 there as well, can't wait till they get a Puegot T16 and SWB Quattro, there is the latter in the area, it's been caught on camera in the north shore!

Seems like manufacturers were more daring back then.

Nowadays - even with huge HP on tap - the focus shift toward posh; everything is smooth and in total control. I guess rawness/visceral doesn't sell.

If it were possible I would like crank Windows and manual locks, no power steering either. While I'm at it, throw away the cats too!!
