What drying aids or post-wash topper do you prefer with Collinite 845 as your sealant (this is my first winter using 845)? I've used BF WDPS the last couple washes and it doesn't play as nice with the 845 as it does with the BFWD. If feels grabby whereas on top of the BFWD/CS it restored that super slick feeling.

Basically, I just like to do a final wipedown with a product after washing to clean up any streaking or water spotting I may have missed when I dry the car. I am considering the following, so maybe thoughts on these...or others:

DG Aquawax
Finish Kare 425 Extra Slick Final Body Shine
Finish Kare Anti-Static Poly-wipe

Not really sure what the difference is on those 2 Finish Kare QD's (2nd one more of a WW maybe?)?

Thanks in advance!!

I've used Colli 845 or 476 for the past three winters. DG Aquawax works great for me, as it plays well in colder temps, drying streak-free and leaving the surface smooth and slick. Optimum Wax is a more durable product, but isn't nearly as easy to work with in the cold. Most of my winter washes on the DD's have been with ONR, sometimes after a pass with pressure washer either at home or at a coin-op. Thanks to Dad07, I've been using DG Rinseless w/Aquawax so far this fall and I'm really pleased with its drying ease in colder temps and the finish it leaves. It'll likely be the one I reach for thru the winter.

I think the cold temps might be part of the problem with my BFPS. I may give the DG Aquawax a try. I'd like to try the D155 but don't want to buy a whole gallon and then not like it.

So since you are using the DG RW w/ Aquawax, do you still do one final pass with the AW spray after you are done?

Another vote for D156!

But I also like to use a detail spray from a company AG doesn't sell.

It all depends on the time and energy available, usually about every 2-3 weeks. My winter beater is nowhere close to a showpiece, but I still like to keep it clean and beading.
Here's a shot from this past January after an ONR wash:

Ok, so I picked up some Finish Kare Anti-Static Poly Wipe spray on BOGO to try out (not 425 although I may try this too down the road). Really works nice. Can be used as a WW also. Tried it on a couple panels and we'll see if it really keeps the dust down. Easy wipe, nice slickness on top of the Coll 845. May not be a "true" test though, as I did a RW the other night with BF WDRW and topped with BF Midnight Sun Instant Detailer. So the FK could just be playing nice with the Midnight Sun rather than the 845. I'll try another BFRW soon and do another test.

Got some DG Aquawax and DG RW w/ Aquawax with the order too, so I'll try those two next.
