Didn't know that then. Now I have some detailer buddies to keep me up on the latest. ;)

Congrats, Richie! In your hands, it will undoubtedly perform flawlessly.

Congrats!
Thanks Al!

Glad to hear about your new baby! Cant wait to hear from a 3401 guy!
Thanks Jim. The Flex has set the bar pretty high as far as I'm concerned.

Subscribed... will be good reading.:xyxthumbs:
Thanks. I hope I don't keep you waiting too long!

Richy,
Congrats on the Rupes! I look forward to your review/comparsion.

Thanks. Now I feel the pressure to do it sooner, LOL.

That's very kind. I'm sure it will have a learning curve; every machine does. (Don't tell my wife I'm using her Durango as the gineau pig, LOL).

I am waiting for the Flex vs. Rupes showdown, very interested in the results as it will directly affect my next purchase... congrats on the pick up cant wait for the results!

There is a thread on Autopia on this already.

I'm currently waiting an opportunity to use my 849x with the dynabrade head.... Its a heavy combination, maybe the 21 rupes might just fit where I want

Congrats Richy !!! I am really looking forward to hearing your thoughts on it.

I suspect there is room for both in a collection, but await some reviews before making the decision to purchase a Rupes. Keep us informed Richy.

There is but it's not as controlled as it should be IMO. I've been thinking that I will run the Flex with a yellow 5.5" B & S pad and will run my Rupes 21 with the smaller BP and another yellow B & S pad and will probably use either D300 or M105. If things go well on Saturday, I hope to have time to do it then.
