Finally got my butt chewed by the Mrs...

must....

bite.....

tongue!!!!!

ahhh, the heck with it.

married life rules to live by
- flush twice and light a candle.
- clean her car 2 times or more each year
- spray a few shots of "DP Just Detailed" every couple weeks
- keep complaints to a minimum about the plants
- keep complaints to a minimum on how she never wants to clean her car
- since there are special ways to wash her clothes, dont attempt to wash them!
- dutch ovens are funny videos, not real events!

and to think, as the "dog house" video played, she said there was nothing wrong about the guy buying extra ram for her computer.

WOOT!

Tell her she's addicted to "chewing your a$$" and when she kicks that habit you'll kick yours :-)
NO!

NO NO NO!!!!

if i had a spray bottle of water, i would spray you in the face now and say NO!

thats just going to lead to an empty garage and filthy vehicle for all of eternity!

or one day a divorce

Thankfully I'm not married nor plan on it anytime soon. She knows it's my house and my money. She does her fair share and is always a big help and only 2nd time my butt got chewed for something. Woman come and go but my cars, like my dog, will always be the for me

Just get a UPS Store box. So you can get mail and packages whenever you want without her knowing.

That is what I do!!

after 8 months of detailing I felt like i had an addiction. I was always on autogeek, meguiars and detailing world. looking at different products and ways of doing things. i wanted that extra 5% improvement. I was making wish list of 200 bucks as well.

two years later i learned those expensive products don't make the difference. i try to use cheap verstile products that work every time. APC, IPA, ONR(its a must have!!!) megs endurance(used on trim and tires), rainX, waffle weave towels, collnite 845, megs clay, m105, m205, groits DA. These are the STAPLE products. They make detailing work. I don't need megs plastic X, glaze, or a snow foam lance with a powerwasher to make my car look better.

there are a number of well priced products that work perfectly every time. you gotta find what works for you stick to them. don't read the hype and marketing. seriously don't fall for marking tricks. stick with products you like and make orders when you run out, say every 6 months budget for a 100 dollar order, wait for sales as well.

very well said george...after I think about it, its all because of the marketing/reviews/hype that I keep buyin stuff...I mean I don't need WETs/PERL/UTTG (which I have) they all do the same thing, I just read reviews (Corey) and then the product sounds so good so I buy it...even if I don't need it, and 12 dif kinds of wax, 8 sealants, (each 8oz wax or 16oz+ sealants) when I only get to use them at minimum once a month...I prob already have enough LSP right now to last me 2-3 life times if they do not expire/go bad. The only thing I don't regret buying is the microfiber towels, those get used often ;) but other than that, all the waxes/lsps I should stop buying into the marketing/hype.

even now, I already have a gallon of V7 from Chemical Guys but thanks to Alko I want to buy a gallon of XMT360 spray wax...damn you Alko! and I spent a lot of my free time reading the forums and random AG topics, and how to videos on stuff I already know how to do (clean pad on the fly, fold microfiber 4 ways, how to polish, prime pads, etc etc)

do I have a problem?

I have a problem...

somebody help me

somebody save me

If as much time on studying as I do on AGO, I would prob be a 4.0 GPA student!

Yeah... Sorry have to agree on it being a girlfriend causing this grief. No disrespect, I'm sure you love her or else you wouldn't be with her. But that conversation would have had a quick ending with me.

On the TV show..."Everybody Loves Raymond"...

What was the name that Frank enjoyed calling his son Raymond whenever he felt he was not being manly??

OH YEAH...Now I remember....:D

:props:I can always take a joke from a guy with a corvette

I'm sorry but I got a good chuckle out of reading some of these. Some of the creative responses and solutions are just as funny!! :props:

I'm not even married and I get that talk from my girlfriend. Almost word for word lol

Just remember; Behind every good man is a good woman.........and that's were she belongs!!

PS...Honest dear, I did not type this. Someone else has taken control of my keyboard....

I feel bad for you.... my wife would not dare talk to me like that. If your gf is talking to you in this manner and getting her nose in your finances, than you got serious problem ahead my friend.

"gf"... as in girlfriend... I know from experience that marriage is the purest form of communism but your "gf" has input on how you spend your money.... why?!?

I watched that video and had to laugh.
My wife actually asked for a Vacuum for Christmas..and a Steam Mop!
I guess that's one of the differences between a wife of 20+ years and a GF.

(I got her what she wanted and some Jewelry so I didn't have to hear grief from my family).

I am startin to feel the heat in my house too. Bustin chops about all the pkges, being online and always running outside to test a new product.

Yesterday, every time she went into the bathroom I ran outside to apply some new product......................lol

I find they dont get so mad when you show them the money you are making. My girlfriend actually got pissed off at me because I made more in 3 hours than she did all day at work.... :buffing:
