Well a few days ago I got an e-mail from the site I bought my FLex from, sorry AG, and it said they finally got them back in stock, which at first I thought only AG was out of stock, thats whay I went somewere else, joke was on me, anyway, and yesterday it was waiting for me when I got home. Can't wait to use it and give my opinion of it, but for those who have already used it, how does the speed setting on it compare to those on the PC, basically is a flex at 3 the same as a pc at three? Thanks.

Right on man. What pads do you have to use it with?
Please let us know your initial impressions. I'm very curious what's your opinion on this...
Thx-Goose :)

Got mine on Monday. Thank you AG.

I can't wait to use it

The guy in the big brown truck just dropped mine about 20 minutes ago. :D

got my Flex last Friday! Can't wait to try it out!!!:righton:Im the MAN:buffing:

I even got it sooner than later. I'm happy and I haven't even used it yet. It exudes quality even sitting in the box.

Ok, I've heard so much about the Flex that now I'm quite interested. Is everyone getting the DA model? Is it clearly that much better than the PC or UDM? Can you use the same backing plate/pad combo you have been using with the PC? I really want one but don't want to spend all that money on a whole new set of pads/backing plates, etc., etc. But if it's far and away that much better and faster at paint correction then I might consider. Newbies that have just received one please post your thoughts. Veterans who own the Flex please post as well. Thanks!!

i wanted to get some information on the flex buffer. i have been doing auto detaiing for the last 20 years . i currently have the dewalt high speed buffer, the cyclo , and the griots buffer. i am very interested in this flex seeing that i hear about it all over this web site. i really love this web site. i am on it all of the time and just enjoy seeing all of the people on this site and what they say about all of the detailing world. let me know on the flex

Dengood...I just got my Flex the other day...and tried it on a few panels I have to test products on..I have to say its night and day over a PC..I do not have a UMD...but with comparison to a PC ..its way better...I ca do about 90% of the correction I can with my rotary.....the other 10% would be with wool on a rotary....

do I think its a good investment...YES....also vibration is very minumal also...with 5.5 in pads it is close to O.....I have used it with LC...Megs...3M...and old Edge classics...and they all worked fine ....

hope this helps.....also very comfortable to use....

Pads - Yes, BP - No. The Flex has it's own special backing plate that is gear driven for the forced rotation.
