I've been wanting to shine this baby up for a few years now. It has been under a car cover in the back of the hangar and just begging for some love. It is a 20 year old gel coat on fiberglass (yes, it is a kit and not original, sadly) so I knew it wouldn't really be super shiny, but it would at least look good going down the road.

I went through the pictures I took trying to get half/half photos and it was clear that I was having a tough time getting anything good, so I'm left with this one.

I tried a couple different polishes on it and (surprisingly) found that what worked the best was Wolfgang UBER. Man that stuff is tough to buff off... I don't know if it was the gel coat or the product, but I've only used it on two vehicles so far and both times it was really interesting to buff off. Be warned... I'll do a full review on it when I can test it proper.

Anyway, I used UBER and then another coat of Wolfgang Paint Sealant just to be sure it looked as good as possible. I was pleased and so was the owner. Pleased enough that he said I can do his original '67 Shelby GT500 next. :) That made it worth it for sure!! I can't wait to get my hands on that one. Hopefully I won't have to dream about it for another 5 years...

Nice! I did neighbor's last year. I'm looking forward to it again this summer. Nice vehicles!!
