Meghan, make sure you research the actual mileage of the Prius. I've heard that the car gets much lower MPG than what they say it was supposed to get.

Ive heard the same. Ive never liked the idea of driving a hybrid (see pic below lol), but I can understand the need for a good gas mileage car for people who drive way more miles then I do.

My friends 93 honda civic got like 35mpg, and thats like 15 year old technology. Im still thinknin there are ways to make a car achieve similar results today with a "conventional" engine setup.
