Due to the water restrictions I never had enough time to use it and finally got to the other day. I only have one question and that is how am I supposed to clean the pads. The packaging says they are Wolfgang concours series. I put them in a bucket of water with some dawn came back in an hour or so to clean them. But then the next day I got a lot of dusting so I guess I didn't clean them right.

I like to wash my pads in the sink with warm water, dawn, and a scoop of oxy-clean. I massage the pads with my hands to get them clean and then rinse thoroughly. I haven't had any problems with this technique. The Cobalt looks great. Good luck with the 7424 in the future.

Thanks, I'm going to give that a shot I still have one that needs cleaned.

I do the same thing bud does, except I use Pinnacle pad cleaner. Its looks and smells like Purple Power or Amazing roll off.

Well hopefully I got them clean now. I used a little bit of lava soap on the last pad and seemed to work better. Thats not bad for it or anything is it?

the best OTC solution to getting pads clean imo is dawn power dissolver..look for it at any major supermarket or drugstore..great stuff....otherwise i like my mirco-restore diluted in a spray bottle as a pad cleaner..

Lol, it probably is. The trend of relabeling items is a bit fishy with some of their products. Like the pad rejuvanator, that's just snappy clean....

Ditto x10. Dawn power dissolver cleans the crap outta pads and they smell nice afterwards, hehe.

Better get the power dissolver fast....I looked in 3 stores and none and was told it was being discontinued by one of the managers...I finally found it Brooks drugs and was on sale....This is by far the best pad cleaner going...for 2.49 I can clean 100 pads with it and even cuts collinite wax on the pads...

I bought 10 spray bottles of it...

I hope what stock is left goes to the dollar stores after...lol....

This stuff cleans pads...1-2 sprays...let sit for 3-5 minutes ..wash it and it comes out spotless...

Micro-restore diluted in a spray bottle sounds like a great idea. Got to try it. What dilution ratio do you use?

Your car looks great, that silver is kicking!

I use Pinnacle pad cleaner in the sink.

Found some of this at my local Walmart. They were fully stocked and were 2 bucks per bottle... Not bad.
