Short background, my last detail on it was ~2 months ago, (way too long imo!) My car was hit and ran, not long after I m205'd it leaving it swirl free, the body shop did an excellent job on the repair, the paint, minimal orange peel, however they did induce some swirling, nothing a one step shouldn't clean up however it was a bit disappointing
I also believe they stripped a good bit of my Sherbet Fizz off
http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum...sis-34-bouncer-s-wax-sherbet-fizz-review.html
as it kind of fell off after that

However to begin this detail I strip washed with chemical guys wash and gloss (favorite soap)

Then I went to work on the junk tire shine the body shop put onto my tires, took two applications to remove!

Mothers Tire+wheel Cleaner was used for the tires

Microfiber dried

-> Rubbish Boy's Original Edition applied -> the rest of the pictures will be ported from my SON1C Synopsis 45 which can be read here

Excellent work!

Do you have a favorite carnauba wax?

Looking good SON1C. Love the sun shots infront of the store.:props:

Sorry to hear about the hit and run.

Nicely done. That is a great color.
Thanks Guz
Excellent work!

Do you have a favorite carnauba wax?
thanks :D

I wouldn't say I have a favorite, I have some favorites,
off the top of my head SS II , fuzion, banana armour, orange crush, petes 53, rboe, blue velvet for a wet look, light fantastic on whites, couple others
I don't see what was your one-step product, an AIO?

Also, for rewaxing, do you wait till wax has worn off or what is your preferred method? Paint cleanser?
I didn't use one, that was a reference to prior the hit and run // I could use another one now
Usually I strip the paint with cg wash and clear or wash and gloss at a strip ratio ~ 1 oz to 1 gal and IPA wipedown
this time it was basically worn off however I stripped it with wash and gloss for good measure
Nicely done.

Do you have a feel of the durability of the Rubbish Boys?
Thank you, I do not, on day 2 / 3, but I will report back on its durability at a later date!
You and your wax whoreness lol. Because of you I have like 5 waxes I want to try lol. Good work
haha it's bad for you because we have the same paint color ! SN
Who's highest on your hit list?
Thank you

Yeah if you get hit and ran, you're gonna have a bad time lol, but what's done is done

At least the body shop knew what to do and took care of it.
2 months between detail?? Must've been drivin you crazy!!
Thanks to you, the carnuba bug has bit me too....Pete's 53 being the newest addition, I like it!

Great photos of SON1C:dblthumb2:

This is all I've really got of her so far. She gets new tires Friday so she should look a little more truck worthy after then.:D

I'd say SSII is the highest in my list. Thinking of pulling the trigger on it tomorrow as its 20% off right now.

Great job Son1c, your car is always crazy clean! I wish I could keep my Cobra that nice all the time, but she seems to find her way out on the street a lot more often than she used to nowdays, must be the new goodies I keep getting her...

Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it as you already know, especially for our ford / mustang paint

Oh don't give me too much credit, my baby was filthy over the last couple weeks! Having quality LSP's make a world of difference on how clean it stays, but you already knew that! You're also playing on expert difficulty w/ black!
Thanks though :D
Tires were beat!
To say the least!
