Well after looking at this forum and surfing their site I finally joined as a member. I drive a black Chevy Silverado and my biggest problem is swirls. I joined in hopes of learning all of the different steps and techniques for properly detailing my truck. At some point I plan on purchasing a dual action polisher most likely the porter cable as this seems to be very popular on this site. My biggest thing will be choosing the right products such as waxes, polish, swirl removers, microfiber towels and pads. Im not really sure what the differences are between pads and what products to use with them.

I've heard this somewhere before...

Lots of members on this forum that will go above and beyond the call of duty to help you out....

DA Style polishers are the easiest to learn how to use and you can easily tackle your truck using a Porter Cable DA Polisher especially if you stick to 5.5" pads...

I'm updating my articles list and my video list today, so check them out later as they will be update with all the latest articles and videos...

Swirls? On black paint? Nah... That never happens. ;) lol Actually, most people will say they have some black paint in their swirls by the time they start looking for ways to resolve the problem in my neck of the woods. ;) I'm sure you'll find what you need here to take care of that little issue.
