I am so excited....Im the MAN

Today I got a call from human resources and was offered a nursing position at Henry Mayo Hospital in Valenica, CA!

After over 200-300 new grad applications sent, countless prayers by my family and myself, and two interviews, the first being at UCLA Medical Center which I wanted really really bad and bombed because it was my first interview, I can now say I am an employed nurse!!

What does this mean for Autogeek??....Master blaster in the very near future and more products to try out!!

Just wanted to share this story because I have been looking since January and worked very hard (past 10 years) to be in this position.

There were times when my confidence was at an all time low but I kept persisting and it finally paid off.

Moral of the story is don't ever give up!

Also, I wanted to thank Autogeek and it members because they prepared me and gave me the tools to polish cars which served as a form of therapy to forget about struggles in finding employment. Thanks again Autogeek!!! :)

Congrats

Every now and again, you should ad the word "swirl" into a conversation with your patients and watch their facial reaction

Congrats! Celebrate, then buy a house! J/k, we can never have enough detailing supplies.

What department will you be working in? Last summer I got to volunteer over at County USC for the Resuscitation Emergency Room Department. It was one of the best experiences of my life.

Excellent job! Best of luck with your new career. :xyxthumbs:

Here's hoping you have great success, and a long tenure, in your new job. You finally reached this goal...and so another begins.

Thanks everyone. I really appreciate all the nice comments.

My wifey is ecstatic because she says she can now finally do real shopping, lol. She's also a nurse who has been supporting me and paying most of the bills.

Thanks, this is exactly what I am going for and why I got my BSN. Where did you hear this? I thought this was all rumors and wasn't going to happen until much later. Congrats to your wife for getting into CRNA school. You must be very proud.
