So between covid and moving our house and building the new shop this spring and summer has been busy to say the least. This Friday we had a private track rental with about 30 of us and a well known racer and track prep guy on hand to lay down the sticky on the track.

I haven`t been since last September when I ran 10.54@129 blowing through the FTI 4400 stall. Over the winter I switched from a TH350 trans and FTI 4400 to a TH400 and a Yank Pro Eliminator 3400. And boy did it pay off.

First pass off the trailer

After a cool down and tire pressure adjustment it went this

So after this pass it was obvious that 4.11 rear gear was just too much. A set of 3.70s or 3.90s is in order most likely. But for the hell of it my tuner added 1.5 deg of timing and bumped the limiter to 7100rpm from 6800rpm. I made another pass and like a dope forgot to put in a fresh bottle and went 10.10 @ 131. Also I forgot to raise my RPM window switch for the nitrous as it normally would shut off at 6600. Some cooler air and it will go a 9.90. But all in all at 3800lb race weight with me in it I`m very happy with it.

Woof, I bet you got some rubber to clean off of the paint after hahaha nicely done

Looks and sounds great! Been 20 years or so for me since I had a 1/4 mile car! Off the top of my head you are real close 133-134 MPH which I am guessing the 3.70s should accomplish... Fun thread, you got me racking my brain down memory lane lol... Keep us posted!
