I will be ordering either the speedy prep towel or the nanoskin autoscrub wash mitt and was trying to decide on which grade. After doing some searching it seems that the overall consensus was to go with the fine grade. I detail as a side job so I see some pretty contaminated paint 80% of the time and the other 20% the contamination isn't so bad. My thought process was to go with the medium grade to make sure I am getting everything off the paint before I go to the polishing stage. Thoughts?

Also anyone have any input as to which one I should go with between the speedy prep towel or the nanoskin autoscrub wash mitt?

Thanks!!

I have been thinking the same thing as well. My thoughts were, if I'm going to be polishing afterwards, I might as well use the medium grade if it's needed. If your budget is ready for it, I would get a fine and medium grade.

I got the fine grade, seems to work great without marring (little if any) haven't run into a job yet where I thought i would need medium. And if I do ill just whip out the old clay bars that are sitting on the shelf :)

But as rider said, if budget is open to it, you couldn't go wrong by having both.

I agree - if you're sure you'll be polishing afterwards anyway, might as well go for the medium grade.

Medium grade it is.

Anyone have input on the towel vs. the wash mitt?

I have the fine grade towel and love it. I've been thinking about the wash mitt bc I like to clay during the wash

I am in the same boat as you. I am leaning toward the Mitt from some of the videos I saw. I think it will be a complementary product for a rinse-less wash process (ie ONR).
