Who was it here that works with fingerprinting technology?? I have this timeclock that uses it, and I am stuck. If anyone can help... PLEASE REPLY. :) TIA
 
Fingerprinting technology? What the! LOL, we don't have anything like that in SC! Sorry, sound like some kind of startrek future stuff.:D
 
I don't know, but keep me updated, I have some Banks I want to break into :D
 
LOL my problem isn't like that. For some reason the clock won't recognize the fingerprinter.

That would actually just annoy me lol, so I wake up early and want to see what time it is, I'd have to press my finger to it, have it scan, authorize, then give me the time? I'd throw it into the wall :D
 
LOL... we are definitely on the same page then and you see my dilemma. ;)
 
Yep, it's me. I work for AFIX Technologies (www.afix.net), but their fingerprint applications are all law enforcement related.

Send me a pm and I can point you in the right direction if you are using a biometric verification system for time clock or access.

I'm a police officer and actually had a refresher class about two months ago on fingerprints, tell me for specfics on what your looking to do.
 
Hey Jmunk: I sent him a pm...his program won't recognize the fingerprint scanner. Probably has to re-install the drivers.

BTW: which refresher class did you attend? The Ron Smith & Associates one or the one put on by the I.A.I.?

I just got my certification. PAC 43.80 Fingerprint Classification (24 hours) from the dept. of Public Safety Administration of Justice. It will just be another addition to my resume once I decide to become an officer or any of the plethora of opportunities in Admin. of Justice/Criminology!
