Fingers Crossed for a Huge Opportunity!

Congrats man! Look forward to seeing some pics of these awesome cars you're going to get to play... I mean work with!

It's been my goal to break into the higher end automobile clientele and today I may have talked my way right into that opportunity!

Spoke with the owner, he took a stack of business cards, and told me he has a Bentley he's planning to sell that he'd like for me to detail!

So, my fingers are crossed, in the hopes that I'll receive the call and the opportunity!

The key to making money buffing out high-end cars with a multiple step process is first educating the customer, in your situation, the owner of the company, because a multiple step process takes,

  • More time/steps
  • More pads
  • More chemicals
  • More care and attention, even more passion

The time isn't just the buffing step, it's also the wiping off of the residues after each step and this takes time and after each step, as you create a nicer and nicer looking defect-free finish you also have to wipe more and more carefully and even this type of wiping takes some level of more time.

It is possible to do high-end one-steps and two-steps and my guess for a shop owner this will be a more successful approach for you as well as more profitable. There's plenty of ways to skin a cat now days.

Good luck and please update us and for sure.... take some pictures!
