Very well said. I agree!Honestly I didn't notice any difference at all on the dust collection. I bought it specifically for that reason. I ended up doing a 50/50 on my hood with FK425/Crystal Mist to check for any difference in dust collection and after the car sat overnight I compared the sides....there was no "dust line". They had both collected the same amounts of dust. The way I read it originally I was thinking it was more of a dust repellent, and it's really just anti static properties to keep the car from attracting more dust. Similar to ESD spray for electronic tools and benches it just neutralizes static charge. So if your cars are collecting a lot of dust simply because there is a lot of dust in the air, I doubt you'll notice a difference. However, if they are collecting more dust than they otherwise would because they are charged with static then it may in fact reduce the amount you collect.
I still think it looks pretty good while not being terribly expensive.

I agree as well regarding FK 425 NOT being a dust REPELLENT as nothing can do that. Is just has anti static properties as he stated, so it won't attract dust itself.
Rob, for me it removed the static charge from Fuzion. It was attracting dust. I think the drastic difference in our climates plays a major role in this.I agree as well regarding FK 425 NOT being a dust REPELLENT as nothing can do that. It looks great on trim and windshield cowls, etc. No decent detail spray will fowl trim.Is it safe for trim? Let us say I get some on the trim by accident while spraying the painted parts of the vehicle, will this be fine? I have a CRV and as you all know its full of plastic black trim all over its lower body panels.
Thanks!

I use 425 regularly. As others have mentioned, I have sometimes experienced streaking/hazing when applying to a warm hood. I have also experienced hazing after the car (a black car!) had been sitting out in the sun for a while. Perhaps I used too much product. I don't know. An ONR rinse cured the problem. I still like 425 very much, but it's not problem-free, at least with black cars.
