FK425 is no secret, it's been one of the slickest QD for years.First let me say i have tried many quick detailers.I just got finish kare today. It is one of the best i have ever used. Thanks to the forum members that recommended it is one of the best keep secrets
AW is a sealant and will last much longer than FK, but FK is very slick. Try it out you will like it. On your next order with AG get a free sample.glad you found something you seem to enjoy. i have never tried FK425 but i do know another slick one i go to is DG AW

Do a 50/50 with AW and FK and let us know which is slicker.i understand AW is a sealant but it is still very slick
Hey, it's a great product, it does mute flakes if used to often. If you use QD's you will love FK.i may just have to break down and try FK. i use the AW cause i can get it locally when i run out

Better cleaning ability than FK425.You dont know what your missing till you try 425 ... and Ive never noticed it mute anything. They also offer 146 which is more of a sealant look qd'er spray. Its a bit crisper looking and not quite as slick.
I have not noticed any improvement in static over Griots Speed Shine (their version of QD). I have not used any other QD for many years. I bought the FK425 because of its advertised anti static property. I was not overly impressed. Still very static. FWIW, I was using it over WG DGPS 3.0 covered with Pinnacle SSII.I may just break down in buy the FK425 since it is anti-static, great for repelling dust from what i have read, correct me if I'm wrong?

I going off FK's charts on their website. You're right that both aren't meant for cleaning, but one does clean better than the other, FWIW. :xyxthumbs:Neither clean very well, but in general it "seems" most quick detailers have really become detail sprays and add some gloss and perhaps in rare instances some UV protection.
For a true quick clean wipe I use Mothers Showtime or mix up some ONR.

Thanks Killr. I will try some next time I order.146 suggests more of the anti-static abilities over 425, not sure it will help but might be worth a try. I liked it and found it looked more like a traditional sealant versus 'nuba wax. 425 is the opposite in looks.
