Hey guys - I've been searching for a great finishing polish and was hoping for your recommendation. I plan to use M205 and but then wanted to follow it up with a ultra polish to really make the paint pop. So far from what I've seen... one of the best is SF4500. Are there any other good options out there?

If you're looking for a jeweling polish after 205 personally I'd stay all Menz and use a 2500/4500 combo. I have both, to me the Menz combo works better. YMMV obviously.

Seriously..?..HD polish.

Well said!! HD Polish can have some great cut with and aggressive pad and usually will finish LSP ready, but if not just do some additional passes with a polishing pad. And it wipes off like nothing with no heavy oils left behind.

What machine and pad are you planning on using? 205 on a finishing pad is really nice. Menzerna SF4000 is as well. They're the only two that I use for that application.

hd polish is very versatile even with a microfiber pad, go to the 8:15 mark for a dramatic 50/50...

Big fan of HD polish. You cant go wrong with it. Scholl S30 is also nice too.

I have a GG6 and have some hydro-tech pads (cyan, tangerine, and crimson).

Haha... i should have known that I was going to get a bunch of recommendations. Thanks guys! So does SF4500 have an cutting ability or is it purely for a really clean finish?

For those of you who have recommended HD polish.. I have heard good things about it. CarPro Reflect as well. What is the difference between the two? And do they match up with SF4500?

Thanks!

It's a polish, so it has a cut, but it probably has to be about the lowest cut polish out there. I think there are some cutting pads that the pad alone has more cut than 4500.

It's a jeweling polish. If you're looking to tweak that last little bit out of the finish it's the polish you want and there's probably few out there that are as fine as 4500. If you're looking for a second step after a harsh polish maybe not the best choice.
