I just used my pc for the first time! Did my black 2012 tundra dd over the weekend, total about 10 hours. I am a newbie and I have to say I am thrilled with the results. Wash/dry, clay, Xmt fine sr, xmt carnauba finishing glaze. My question. Is it over kill to add a finishiny wax to this combination?

Try it and see if you can see a difference. If so, go for it. Definitely not overkill, but it may not do much other than give you some satisfaction after all that work. Especially if applied by hand.

Agree with doing it!! Not sure if it will look any better but you should see better durability.

From Pinnnacle's website: "You can follow with more carnauba to increase the shine or call it a day." So there it is from the horse's mouth. SO I say go for it with a sealer wax with no cleaners.

Thanks for the advice. I'm going for it. Since my truck is a dd and always outside and I live in the northeast I guess a sealant would be the way to go. ...however. ....decisions. ....decisions. ...

The Balckfire Combo they have on sale right now is awesome, you get the Wet Diamond Sealant which is very durable and the Midnight Sun Wax which is outstanding, I bought this a couple weeks ago, aleady had BFWD but wanted the MS wax and this is a great deal at this price. Check it out:
