Since i hadn't used any of the products, let alone a DA polisher, I just went with the Pinnacle XMT light swirl remover kit, followed the directions as far as what pads to use with which product, and followed up with a coat of Pinnacle Signature Series II. The Mustang was very forgiving because of the color and it was fairly new, so no real correction was needed. The CRV was a challenge as it had never been clayed or polished ... just waxed. VERY proud of the results. And I watched MANY videos!! Just a hobby and loving it.

Couldn't agree more. Can't even count how many people I've switched from working by hand to working by machine in my life but I've NEVER heard anyone say the regret it and if fact the most common comment is,

I should have switched to machine polishing years ago!


And proper tools? This forum is in my opinion just as important of a tool as a good polisher. Next time you place an order, try out the Pinnacle Advanced Swirl Remover and Finishing Polish. Cost more than the XMT line but look at all the show cars we buff out here at Autogeek and look what we use, same goes for Wayne Carini's shop.
