Hi everyone,

Thanks to the information I gathered here I finally felt confident enough to try swirl removal on my 2011 Chevy Silverado. Unfortunately I can't seem to find any before shots, and I wasn't forward thinking enough to take any while I did this, but the vehicle was covered it what I would call "light" to "moderate" swirls. There had never been ANY paint restoration done on this vehicle. Just a coat of OTC wax twice a year. If she was lucky.

Method:
- 2BM wash
- CG Medium duty clay bar w/ Lube

Steps below using of 7424
- CG V36 cutting polish and orange hex logic pads. Four section passes
- CG V38 finishing polish and white hex logic pads. Four section passes
- CG Blacklight and black hex logic pad
- CG butter wet wax and red hex logic pad
- CG V07 sealant by hand

The truck looks AMAZING. There isn't a single swirl to be seen (to my "amateur" eye anyways). Took about 7 hours total but the results are stunning.

I absolutely am! Thanks to many on here who took time to answer my questions, and for the massive amount of information available in general.

So am I! Was definitely a lot of work, and I was getting some *seriously* strange looks from some of my neighbors (:buffing:). They're jealous now that they see it though. :dblthumb2:
