I did my first car over the weekend. I can proudly say it looks amazing. The car is an Infinite G37. The owner of this car took great care of it, though, there where something I notice he did a little too often. First was that he clay bar the car 1-2 a month which, IMO, is a bit too much. Second, the owner would only clay certain spots of the car that he believed only needed it. Lastly, he wouldn't put on a wax just a quick detail sealant that IMO needs more than that. Next the paint, the paint is soft and not something I was use too. There where some minor water spots that he couldn't get off though everything else look to be in good shape. . I washed and clayed with Meguiers which for this car was easy to work with seeing car was pretty clean to begin with. The clay bar picked up some really dirty spots that I could tll never been clayed before and others where I barley got any grime or dirt. Once I was done with the clay bar, I moved onto the detail itself. For this car I used the BF line. I did a test spot on the hood of the car to see if a compound was needed. I used BF compound w/ 1500 cutting. From reading threads and comments i decided to use compound anyway to be on safe side. I used a GG DA with LC Hydro pads for this vehicle. Switching from Cobra pads to LC Hydro was night and day. The LC are a dream to work with and will only be using them from now on. Moving onto the BF compound, I noticed and did not like with the BF compound was it made a lot of dust. After just washing and claying the car was a bit frustrating. Fortunately, I had an air compressor on hand and was able to air off all the dust. Then, I used BF polish. Using my GG 6" with LC hydro pads I polished at speed 4 and last few passes bumped up to 5 speed slowing down to insure a fine polish. The polish took me the longest and was most exhausting part of detailing this car. However the shine and gloss I got was amazing and couldn't of been more happier. Last but certainly not least, wet diamond sealant. What can I say about this product? Its so easy to work with. It goes on smooth and smells heavenly. The owner and his friends came out just as I was finishing the hood and they all love the smell. I waited an hour to remove the sealant and it comes off just as easy as it is to put on, making it one of my new go to products. For wheels and tires I used DP shell glaze which Im not a fan of. Its hard to take off and leaves a lot of dust as well. So if anyone knows a better glaze please fill me in. Im thinking of using 845 from now on. For tire dressing my silver bullet UTTG ( thanks Bobby G!!!!) The owner of the car was amazed. He didn't know if I could make the car better than what it was and I went above and beyond his expectations. Little background about this "client", he's very OCD about his car and I notice smaller things that he didn't even see or was aware of. I talked him through every process and showed him my products my steps and my work. After I was done with compound polish and sealant, I ask him to step into the garage with me and take a look at his car. I showed him what I did and let him see the difference. he felt the car and the smile on his face made this car one of my favorites to work on. Now the sad part. My camera ran out of juice before detail so all I took are some after pics with my iPhone 4 camera. This does not give this car justice but worked with what I had. Please leave any feed back positive or negative.

This last picture does not do justice for the mirror reflection I obtained on this car
