Yea, you don't need much. Most people rely only on halogens, but that's only halfway there, because you can't pick up fine holograms with them. Pick up a high intensity LED flashlight, it will work every time, and it's easier on your eyes than sun checks.

Yes, I know about those. That works great too, but you can typically pick up an LED light for less than 10 if you know what to shop for. Although, the new Surefire E2dLED is pretty sweet, but I don't just use lights like that for paint correction. They're just obscenely expensive.
