Hey everyone. Just finished my first detail. I was surprised that it took my 2 days, one for exterior and one day for the interior.
So, i used the HD polish with the Buff and shine , Green pads. I wish I would have ordered a heavier cutting compound with a different pad. For some reason I had Tons of swirl marks(only seemed to be on the hood) still exposed under the proper lighting conditions.
These are the products I used ,in order.
Chemical guys citrus wash and gloss(two bucket method).
Chemical guys luber and clay bar( should have got at least the medium compound clay).
HD polish/ BS green pads.
Wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant.
Dodo juice light fantastic.
Opti-bond tire gell (which I had and extremely hard time applying, and used almost a full bottle for all the tires).
Next, I did the engine. I used some degreaser I picked up at a body shop. The degreaser is made by diamond professional.
I also used the detailers "trim" spray.
I live in southern california and i guess it was my day to wash my truck becuase the sun did NOT come out ALL day. but.. i couldnt get any good pictures.
here are a few before photos:

here are a few photos after polishing, this colour paint does a good job hiding imperfections .
