Well... It took me all Sat from 8am to 10 pm and still not done. My neighbors think I'm crazy.

  1. Wash with NXT(?)
  2. Clay with Sonus sample clay bar and NXT foam as lubricant
  3. Dry with california blade and microfiber towel
  4. Polish with Poorboy's SSR 2.5 with PC at 5-6 speed Green Edge2000
  5. Polish with SSR 1 with PC at 4-5 speed Blue Edge2000
  6. Rinse and dry
  7. WG Deep Gloss Paint Sealant one coat. 12 hours to cure.
  8. Next day: Natty's Blue
  9. Duragloss Aquawax

Well, PC with Edge2000 pads is awesome. I melted Green pad a little while working at 6 speed. It melted inside, where it touches the adapter - my PC doesn't like high speeds. WG Sealant gives good shine - but Natty's is awesome! Aquawax just for protection - it is a "topper" - right?

Comments and improvement ideas are very welcome.

PS I've heard that Natty's will last 4-6 weeks. What happens next? How to keep the car in this condition? Repolish? Lay new stuff over old one?

PPS Thak you. I couldn't do this without you, your forum and Autogeek store.

I don't like them too glossy - looks unnatural to me - Dupont Teflon Tire Shine is perfect for me and doesn't contain solvents.

Thank you for your comments :)

I wont get into how teflon does nothing for paint or rubber specifically, but you might like 303 Protectant (water based, UVB protection, matte look) or Poorboys Natural Look (UV protection, no gloss) also on tires.

awesome reflections, now if someone could show a pic of each layer and how it changes the appearance....

Good G-d man! You have a mobile mirror! Awesome job.

But, I think you need some more practice, so swing by Dallas and you can practice on my car :D

I love the picture of the Autogeek flyer! Sweet reflection!

Great googuly mooguly

Well said. But what scares me is I don't think you have children, so how do you know "great googuly mooguly"? Isn't that from Maggie and the Ferocious Beast?

WOW, that is some AMAZING shine! The proof just keeps on building that you can get excellent results with Poorboys...

Love the Cadillac as well, a very original car!
