Today, Nick at Auto Detailing by AutObsessions Detailing Cherry Hill NJ Philadelphia PA Auto Detailing completed the first detail of my 2013 Civic EX sedan
in Crimson Pearl. My Civic looks beautiful! I am very happy with Nick's work.
He did the Iron-X hand wash, 2 step machine polish and removed ALL the very light
scratches and light spider webbing I had on the trunk lid and front hood.
He used Black Fire as the sealant, but im not sure of the specific product.
Fortunately, NO rain this morning, just nice party sunny skies.

I will post some pictures shortly.

Black magic,

$180.00

"Why didnt I do this myself?" Huh?? If everyone did it themselves all professional detailers will be out of business!

a "two step" with a ironx decon for 180? This has to be a joke. Thats easily a 10+ hour job

what i mean is thats is extremely low priced. Im simple doubting the quality of the work, because i myself wouldnt even come close to pricing my own work that low, even on a one step. Could you upload those pics??

Black hawk,
Sure I will try to post pictures tomorrow. Scroll above to my original post and click on the link for the detailer. I did the "3 step complete detail", BUT exterior ONLY.
I dont know, the car looks beautiful to me. ALL very light scratches and some very light swirls were all completely removed. Maybe im not describing the service he did correctly, but the car looks amazing and HUGE improvement.

I wasn't the one questioning why you didn't do it yourself. I know why people don't. Time, energy and knowledge are three reasons people don't do it themselves. I don't think they aren't putting you down, just questioning the Detailer. It probably does look good. How long did it take?

Like I said, two step or three step wherever, the price seems real low. I didn't see any pics so I'm not going to bring anyone down here. It's just generally speaking a job at that price usually is not too great from what I usually see.

It took about 4 hours, but it a Honda Civic, small compact car. I will take pictures in the morning. It should good weather tomorrow, so I should be able to get some good shoots.

If you read the link, the 3 step is what many would refer to as a 1 step. I believe that's where the confusion is.

OK, i guess that explains it. But the bottom line is, I loved the results, so isnt that all the really matters?

If you click on OPs link it's really a one step. It's a clay polish, seal job. Doesn't mention iron x in the ad. However the dudes menu is really nice and seems fairly priced per service

Well, hand wash, machine polish out light scratches and swirls, polish and seal with Blackfire, looks and fells great to me!

Well awesome!

And now the fun part. Learn to do it yourself next time. Thousand times more enjoyable. :dblthumb2:
