More concentrated and much better to use than Iron X. I have had a love-hate relationship with Iron X Spray since it was Iron Cut. Loved the results but hated the application! It stinks to the point I wont apply it in the garage! Then it is a PITA to remove. I have to rinse the car after and then dry. Iron X Paste, according to Corey is MUCH more concentrated than Iron X. Iron X Spray, until today it had no rival IME. Well AVi has obsoleted his Flagship product with Iron X Paste!. Here are my reasons for reaching this conclusion.

1. I usually use ~ 8 to 12 oz. Iron X to decon a car. It took 3 oz of Paste today to do a Winstar!
2. Application & removal was a snap. I used a BOGO Indigo MF Pad to apply and an all purpose MF to remove.
3. The paint was very rough before applying paste. I wasnt sure I needed to clay the van after the paste. The spray isntt close to doing a comparable job of removing contiminants.
4. This is the best one.... It doesnt smell like a pickled egg and beer fart! It is hard to smell.

Anyone want to buy 4 new bottles of Iron X?/

Very cool, I haven't had an opportunity to try the paste yet. I still have about 3/4 of a gal of original IronX left. Thanks for sharing your observations Big Jim!!! Guess I'll have to give it a whirl!

Interesting stuff, sounds convincing to me. Thanks for sharing your findings.

Hmm, I've had Iron x spray in my cart for a while. Might have to replace it with paste. Although, the application seems slower...

What are your thoughts on speed?

Thanks for the report. I got a sample of the liquid so need to try it out soon.

Thanks for the review. I love IronX. I am interested to see how it compares to the paste.

where did you get your Iron X Paste from ? I purchased mine here at AG and it does have the same smell l as the original iron x. it is not quite as potent but if you open it indoors it will smell up the room and linger quite a while. the paste does make sense and for wheels it is the way to go for sure. you will use a lot less as it does not run , just stays where you put it .

I think both will still have a place in my bag. I agree, pase would be great for wheels or smaller areas. But IDK about wiping a whole car down with the paste. I feel like that would take 4x as long as the spray with maybe only minimal improvements of decontamination. Is it worth it if your still going to clay after anyway?

Both need a few minutes to work their magic. I dont think either is faster.

I opened the bottle and it does stink. Applying it is no comparison to the spray!

I just wiped it on and let it do its thing. Also there is no crap on the driveway or floor to clean up. IME it is a wash on time!

Awesome review Jim. You make me want to give ironx paste a try now. Like you I never liked the smell of ironx and you had to use so much of it because of how runny it is (though I did read somewhere if you put an oz of paste in the to spray it makes the regular ironx thick enough where it will have some cling.) I went on to purchase a 5L of Wolf Decon gel because it didnt smell as bad(slightly minty) and it was a gel with additional cleaners.

On my next order I'll pick up a few bottles and give it a try.

Thanks Alan, coming from you, that means a lot. How do you like the Wolfs? I am a huge fan of their Nano Car wash.
