Well I started at 930am and got done at 515pm. Started with least aggressive first but finally found what was working with a test spot and a few different combinations. Time didnt matter as this was personal so I went the extra mile. A little background this is my 01TA 383 stroker with a turbo. Engine has been rebuilt and car was down this is the first time out in the sun since build 7 months ago. Paint was trashed.

two bucket was with Wolfgang AB
Claybar
4 step
105 = soft buff 2.0 burgandy
105 = soft buff 2.0 yellow
205 = soft buff 2.0 yellow
205 = soft buff 2.0 black
followed with one coat of Wolfgang Fuzion.

Was hoping a 2 step would suffice but wasnt getting the results I was looking for. Let me know what you think this is the first time I used a DA and 105/205 combo and almost a 12oz bottle of both 105/205.

Well you had a nice full day that's for sure.The results are great.One question what made you decide on the soft buff pads ??. I also have them but only used them on my rotary great pads for sure but at 7" pad i would of stuck with a 5.5 Lc Flat or maybe a 6.5 on a Da but if it worked for you more power too you.

I struggled a little with the stiffness and size of the 7" burgundy. The whites were easier on me. Reason I used soft buff 2.0 is it came with kit 169 for 6 soft buff2.0 and the g110v2 from ads. Funny you asked that I have a griot 3 inch in basket with 4 inch pad kit also a couple 3's. And also the CCS 5.5 6 piece kit for my G110v2. Definately could have used the 5.5's, 7 were just a little big especially how this car is cut up. Thought I could use an assortment next time there is no one size fits all here. But hey for my first try not bad.

Great job, now you need to save up for some tires.

You should see the rears!!! Ordered last Wed. just waiting. They are 315's on rear and 275's up front. Still dont hold it on the ground on a 3rd gear punch around 70mph. Just tuned it to break it in with 8psi then going to 16psi next week and arming the methanol injection. Put down 557rwhp and 539rwtq just on 8psi. Hoping to hit 800 mark at wheels..

Oh and I am worn out. The 4 step process was brutal. Im sore all over.

383 stoker kit w/ turbo? wow....... Now that is some serious power... those stoker kits can take some juice too

Here is a warmup run.. Enjoy.
