First Makita Cut/Polish this weekend... Roof Technique??

Once you've done the initial leveling the proceeding steps are always more "fluid", so that's why you are finding easier. Had you not used M105 first and instead started with the step you are doing now it would likely have acted very similar to the M105 step (grabby feel, hard to control, pad hop...)

Good to hear it working out well for you. :props:

Damn, so basically my technique probably still sucks... :)

Will post some pics once I finish the final polish, seal and wax.

Did you have GIANT boogers at the end of the day?

Boogers? I don't think I had any body fluids left to produce anything by Sunday night.

Seriously, hats off to you guys that pound out 3 step restores like this (plus the pre and post work), on a regular basis. I'm in pretty good shape, and to say I was wiped by the end of the weekend would be a gross understatement. And thats taking into consideration that I STILL have the final Polish, Seal, and Wax left!

LOL!

Yeah, I had 25hrs into a car this weekend and every part of my body aches right now. :D
