Well, I completed my first paying job on Saturday. Wasn't a "correction" type job or anything, but the guy drove away tickled and wants me to do his Black 95 GMC truck whenever I can.

Interior was vac'd, hard surfaces and seats wiped down with a diluted citrus cleaner, protected with Aerospace 303, and carpets lightly cleaned with Folex.

Exterior:
Washed with ONR
Prepped with Nanoskin Prep Towel
Polished with Menzerna Final Polish via Rupes w/ white Lake Country flat pad
Topped with Collinite 845 via Rupes w/ red Lake Country pad
Glass cleaned with Stoners
Black Trim wiped down with 303

I was pressed for time so I don't have a ton of great before and after pictures, but thought I'd share anyway.

Looks fantastic! Nice work. Tell the customer to check the air pressure in his front left tire. Looks low on air to my eye.

Thanks guys. I was nervous as hell haha. I've done my own cars for years and have done freebie work for family members, but it felt totally different doing it for money. I work with the guy and I know how picky he is, so I'm not sure if it made if better or worse knowing him lol

Paint looks great. If you really want to wow 'em next time, wheel wells and tire shine.

I fully intended on it but the guy showed up before I was done (the guy is incredibly hyper and was getting antsy lol) and he insisted I not worry about it. Drove me nuts all the way home not having it done though

Well this is escalating quickly. The guy I did the jeep for wants me to do his truck whenever I can and his neighbor saw their jeep and that guy wants me to do his truck like now lol.

Looks really good man.
Yeah word of mouth goes a long way when one does work like this.

I'm booked for the next three weekends, all started from the guy who's truck I did over this past weekend:)

Congratulations on your first, more to come:)

Thanks!

Yeah, I was kind surprised at pretty much getting lined up for two more jobs off of this one already.

looking good, plus a job well done will definitely get you more customers.

Great job. And that's how it all starts. One great detail leads to another, then another, and then your name gets out there.

I hope you made some money.

Congratulations! It's an extremely rewarding feeling to have a customer blown away by how you've transformed their vehicle! (In fact, it's addicting, LOL). Ask him to send you business.

I noticed some people like to blur out the license plate#.

I do that as a courtesy. The only time I don't if it's a cool personalized plate, but I ask for permission first, or a customer knows I do and tells me not to bother. I think most appreciate it however.

I'm up to 4 potential jobs off of that one I did Saturday. This guy wants his truck done, I've got his neighbor scheduled for next Saturday to do his truck and then later found out that same guy has a corvette in storage that he wants me to do (now THAT got me excited lol), and another coworker of mine wants his wife's liberty done. Was not expecting this out of doing one job.....
