Hey Guys,

Just finished my first real detail on my 2010 Maxima. I started with a DP Rinseless wash and then did the Wolfgang Claybar. I then polished with the Wolfgang Total Remover and Finishing Glaze.

It took about 8 hours to do and I was able to get my car almost entirely swirl and scratch free. I took some pics, but I am not a great camera man.

Big thanks to Mike Phillips for the videos and everyone who helped with my posts. I think Mike will enjoy my sky shot from my hood....talk about DOI! I saved the best for last.

Enjoy!

Excellent job my friend!

The car is beautiful and it definitely does not look like your first detail, that means that you have learned a lot here at AG!

Thanks Bro! The reason I said first real detail is because the one I did before this one was not a great job. Still had all the swirls and did zero correction. So this one is legit. AG is the bomb diggity deluxe with cheese!

:props:

Now that's a job to be proud of! :props:

Sky shots do seem pretty popular there don't they!

Thanks Man! I'm pretty proud! It wouldn't have come out as nice if it wasn't for AG! I think I have a disease now....every car I see....I want take swirls out of it! Is there any cure for it?

:buffing:

I know exactly what you mean! Cure? Just close your eyes and count to five (but not if you're driving...)

Congratualtions... 8 hours is a pretty good benchmark for what you did with these kinds of results. :xyxthumbs:

I passed your kind words on to Yancy and Max as Max make the videos possible and Yancy is the "Man" when it comes to shooting and editing...

DOI = Distinction of Image

Looks great!

Hey Guys,

So I forgot to post some shots of the car after applying the Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant and Fuzion Wax. My phone didn't like me today, so I only got 2 shots, but they look pretty good. How does everyone maintain this shine? I have a California car duster to wipe off occassional dust and I wash it weekly with the DP rinse and gloss. I use the dual bucket with grit guard method, but I am still worrying I am going to instill scratches and swirls. Whats the best way to prevent that stuff? Anyway...hope everyone enjoys....

Thanks,

Your car looks great! Good job!

8 hours is very respectable time for all the work, especially for the first time ;)

No befores?

Sorry Bro, no before pics. But trust me, my car was a big swirly mess!

I am starting to work on another car. I have taken some befores and will definitely post them in a new thread. :props:
