First Semi Detail. Questions.

Have you used p21s soap before? If so, care to chime in on it? I have no experience with that product.

I use it on exhaust tips and motorcycles. It's a great shine and on the worst one I sometimes have to use 0000 steel wool first. It's quick, just apply with supplied sponge and scrub a little bit and then you just hose it off, or like I do on bikes, wipe it off with a microfiber towel.

Nice shine! Do you think one container will do both stacks or should I buy more?

I personally wouldn't invest in any specialized products and just use what you have to get it done.

Make your own formulation .light compound on 0000 steel wool wet it and work it into the exhaust and rinse and dry and done.

Only things I'm planning on investing in would be a brush with extension handle, 8ft ladder, and whatever to polish the pipes. I only have mothers metal polish and I doubt it will get the job done.

I was also thinking of getting a garden sprayer filled with distilled water to use on the glass after I wash it so I don't have to worry about them spotting up before I can dry them.

Anybody have anymore input on this? I'm excited and nervous at the same time.

Would Meguiars ultimate compound suffice here?

Ultimate compound would probably work. I just stick with the p21s soap because it's cheap, goes a long long way, and it just cleans off super easy. If you have the meguiars metal polish you could always use that with the steel wool also.

I think between that and ultimate compound you would probably not need anything else. I just like to try new stuff and have more options on hand so I have p21s polishing soap, meguiars metal polish, and chemical guys heavy metal polish.
