.winter weather advisory now in effect from 4 pm this afternoon
to 7 am est monday...

* locations...northern mountains and laurel highlands.

* hazard types...snow and blowing snow...accompanied by wind
gusts around 45 mph at times.

* snow accumulations...3 to 6 inches...with the highest amounts on
the ridgetops of somerset and cambria counties.

* timing...snow of varying intensity will fall over the region
late today through sunday night. The heaviest snowfall rates
will likely occur tonight and sunday...then diminish sunday
night.

Pro, you must be just southeast of me. I'm between Pittsburgh and Washington, but my whole family is from both Uniontown and Masontown (Edenborn to be exact).

Stay safe out there. I miss my Xterra, it was great in the snow.

Agree. They are pretty much a TANK in the snow.
