Mayday, mayday...
Today I used my PC7424 for the first time, trying something "safe and easy" for my virginal trip. After cleaning my car carefully, full claying, I applied by hand a coat of Klasse Sealant. Problems:
1) probably applied too thick of a coat (no previous experience here) & let it dry as per directions;
2) tried to use PC 7424 for first time- used Lake Country wool pad covered with Lake Country microfiber bonnet at speed of 2, then 3, then 4 to remove haze left by Klasse Sealant;
3) haze removal went badly as MF bonnet would quit spinning even though wool pad on PC kept on spinning without bogging down, therefore removing the Klasse very poorly;
4) I "resolved" the problem by removing the Klasse Sealant by hand with MF towels, sometime having to spritz areas with detailing solution because of difficulty in removing said Klasse. All of haze eventually removed successfully.
5) My problems are these: do MF bonnets normally quit spinning when put over wool pads or do they bog down only when trying to remove excessively thick layers of sealant?
6) Your expertise and assistance would be greatly appreciated, so thanks in advance for any suggestions, help or feel-good therapy for this neophyte...
