So I recently got a Bissell Proheat auto. I couldn't let it pass by for $49. Today was the first time using it. I was pretty happy with it. I couldn't get the red soda stain that was 3 yrs old.overall real pleased.Sorry for the pictures I took them with my phone.

Looks great. I've been thinking about getting one of these myself. The small unit would be fine since I'm still just a hobbyist.

Pretty good... I thought they were gray floor mats until i saw the after pics.

good price...100 bucks is the cheapest I can find for it

Might I ask where ya got it for $49? Been wanting to pick this up for a long time and its always been $99

Online From a website that's named after a river that passes by Brazil. ;-). Price is $99 if you apply for credit you get a 30 dollar gift card then 20 dollar rebate. 99-30-20= $49

Nice! That would even work for my appartment. It would work good for the random cat puke n hairball spots. Ur floor mats look great!!!!

If you have a PC or a drill, you should get the brush attachment, then extract.

I have the attachment for the drill I used it today.

I have one and while they're not an expensive hot water extractor they work pretty well especially for the price.

Personally, I vary me technique slightly from the manufactures recommendations. I don't add detergent to the water tank, only hot water.

I'll fill the holding tank with the hottest water I can get from the tap. I've found using this unit as a rinse and vacuum only yields better results and leaves no cleaning residue behind.

  • Spray the area to clean with a suitable carpet cleaner.
  • Let it sit for a minute then scrub with a brush.
  • Hot water rinse and vacuum.

Rebates suck. I've been waiting for a rebate on an unrelated item since the first of the year. If a company is going to offer a rebate, why not just discount the item at the time of purchase?

They offer rebates so they don't have to discount. Most people don't fill out the forms and also just don't send it in. I always fill them out and follow up with a phone call in a few weeks. One autoparts retailer ( Pepp B) is famous for saying the product you purchased was the wrong one. I let them know that I purchase the right product and inform them that I want my rebate. In NJ the retailer is now responsible to assist in the rebate process. If they don't they pay.

When I was really into being able to do cars on the side I had this machine and it worked great but would usually only last me about a year to year and half, the motor would always burn out and boy did it stink when that happened. It was still worth it though and I would always get the thing to sud up too much on the inside and it would come all about. I may have used the heat too much but like I said, it was worth the money even when it lasted a year for the way I used it because not only did I use on the customers cars, but my own mats were always perfect.

Rebates do suck because they take for ever to receive but I have always got then
