I have just received some PBL sealant, all I can say is WOW! I really love this stuff, I believe it is the best sealant I have used so far the paint just pops. Here are some pictures of my recent detail using the PBL. If anyone is on the fence about this product it is well worth the money.

Yes, I've read this sealant is absolutely fantastic!

Your car looks GREAT!

What did you use on the tires?

Thank you for the compliment! I am very pleased with how everything turned out. I used two coats of Blackfire total eclipse tire gel for the tires.

Car looks fresh off the lot. I've been on the fence for getting some since I already have Pinnacle's Paste Wax and previously used Wolfgang's sealant. Did you use the PBL lotion as well?

My paint was in good condition as I corrected it after winter. I used Uber rinseless then followed up with Wolfgang perfekt finish paint prep. I am thinking of topping with the synergy as well, but that will be another time.

Guz thanks you for that link. I agree with everything the OP in the article stated, the gloss and slickness and unmatched. It felt and looked similar to when I finished coating my wheels and when my dad and I coated his Subaru with Uber. I will certainly update when it rains next. I hope that isn't a deterring factor as this sealant has really impressed me so far. If the beading is poor, has anyone tried topping with synergy? I would hope that it intensifies the gloss but adds better beading qualities. I guess time will tell what I end up doing.

Very interesting. I know a local guy who did the exact same. I just think some people don't like coatings or are expecting coatings to physically feel smoother.

Just a quick note, this is the sealant, not the coating. Pinnacle Black Label Sealant.

If you apply it properly to bare paint, it should bead just fine. PBL sealant is the best I've ever used.

I wouldn't top it with synergy. Synergy should be the bottom coat and just synergy.

No rain here for a while, so I was unable to get some further insight on the PBL's ability to bead water. Prior to doing a rinseless wash today I took a two cell phone videos on the beading and sheeting. I am pleased with the hydrophobic abilities of this product. Ill know more if it ever rains here, but for now I am content with the beading and sheeting. I certainly had products that beaded better, but I have no complaints.

Nice to see someone else with a 3 Sport GT. For some reason I see very very few of the GT trim Mazda 3s. I find that every LSP from PBL is great. I used synergy and it's got a very tight beading as well, very similar to your hood. I'm still not 100 sure what the practical difference is between the Sealant and Synergy as they both seem to be quite good.
