I ordered a PC and a set of 4 inch LC ccs pads. I am going to be correcting on Ford dark pearl blue paint. Is this hard or soft CC? It has some light to light-moderate swirling. I Have M105, Ultimate compound, and swirl x, I was thinking of starting with the UC and white pad, SHould I get somthing else or start with m105 and orange?

I have never had an overbearing time with ford truck paint. Do a test patch, but in all honesty, I dont see the white pad doing much. Start out with the orange pad and a lighter abrasive polish and see if you need more cut after that.

What year is it, I just did three of them and the paint was medium. I would start with the M105 and the white pad.

year is 06, I just read a thread on autopia about UC, seems to be a good 1 step polish.
