First timmer THINGS TO BUY HELP

I'm a newb, but ordered Blackfire wet diamond based on reviews

what kind of sealant do you recommend mavin?

The 845 is a sealant, I have read a lot of good things about the Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0, just purchased some but have not tried yet. There was a thread 845 vs Wolfgang and results were Wolfgang seemed to out shine and outlast 845, but both are top notch and great to have on hand.
My plan was: wash, clay, M105 some spots only, M205 whole car, Wolfgang 3.0, then Megs carnuaba. This is know as the 2 step process. 3 step is double up on sealnt and or wax depends upon type and application.
There are many posts that list the benifits of sealant and wax. In a nut shell the sealant seals the paint, wax gives it a wet and very shinny look, especially when used together.
Also to save you time in waiting fro answers, you can go to the Tricks, Tips and Techniques - Auto Geek Online Auto Detailing Forum and look through there. Many of the questions you might want to ask or don't know to ask yet are there. Tons of info.

so do you think i should apply the m105 with the red megs pad, the 105 with the yellow megs pad, the c845 with the black megs pad and the Megs Carnuba with the black also?

Here is what I would suggest and do a test area:
Start with the M105 using the yellow pad, if not satisfied move up to the Burgundy pad. M205 use the Yellow, this should work nicely, you will need a couple of them. Wax and or sealer use the Beige pad.

Make sure you keep them clean, Mike has details online showing different cleaning methods while your working. Also make sure you have some good quality MF's so you don't reintroduce scratches back into areas you just polished.
I hope this helps.
Make sure to take before and after and share the results. Happy buffing. The one thing I can tell you is take your time, do your test area and get the process right, the rest will be a lot easier. I can tell you this from my experience.

I'm assuming LC Flat Pad? Honestly, I would start with M205 Orange first just to see if that can take care of the swirls before you jump to M105. I even bought the ultimate compound just too see if that works. Less aggressive first unless you have no other choice then M105. Unless you down right knows your paint.

thanks guys. I think im gona go ahead and order the m205 and c485 and just get the pads and the ultimare compound and megs gold from advanced auto. THANKS EVERYONE
