Hate to bring this back from the dead, but does anyone know firsthand how effective the anti-static properties of 425 is in relation to pollen?

I use the 425 on my vette and still have pollen on the car .I would say it comes over easier then other products but like mentioned pollen loves cars.

I think it is more marketing than fact, likely because its touted as synthetic versus wax based and thus no oils to capture polen.

Thanks...on another forum they stated is was more designed for a "garage queen." It's kinda what I thought.

There's really nothing that will "repel" dust or pollen.

What it really comes down to is how much more does it attract dust and pollen. Carnauba based sprays and waxes tend to attract it more.

I just got a gallong 425 in today.

I'm going to do a little test. I'm gonna tape 5 sections of a tv which collects a lot of dust off.

1 section for OID
1 section for CK QS
1 section for 425
1 section for OCW (since I have no carnauba based qds)
And one clean section

Ill post my findings every few days as to how much dust collects in each section
