Flashing?

So will 205 react the same way?

React the same way as what exactly?
M205 is also SMAT, but unlike M105 it's alot more forgiving and user friendly in just about every way. I'd even go as far as saying it's easier to use and wipe off than its consumer version Ultimate Polish.

M205 gives you more of a leash as far as working time compared to M105, but they both have the same basic principles at heart, meaning it also doesn't need to be worked for an extraordinary amount of time in order to "flash" and finish out properly. I usually do 3 section passes when using it, meaning 4 times up/down, 4 side to side, and another 4 up/down and wipe off. Results look great. If your arm movement is slower than normal, just 2 section passes might suffice. M205 is about as bubba proof as they come.

Since Menzerna Heavy Cut Compound 400, i have not used Meg's 105 too often. I'm with you, Steve, in that i absolutely love Menz 400. The key is the difference in the abrasive technology between the two. Menz can be worked almost forever and i take it to that "flash" indication. It finishes down so well. Meg's 105, as a non dimishing abrasive has a shorter work time and very very frequent pad changeouts. Plus a spray bottle of distilled water does wonders to extend the work time a bit. When i'm faced with a severely trashed hard paint i still grab M105! I find it corrects faster and that helps when the clock is ticking.

When you say flash that means basically see through?

Yes, when you work diminishing abrasives down to their finest state and the oils etc begin to dry out a bit you get to see the paint more clearly underneath instead of a uniform layer of cloudy product as the pad moves away.
