This is a friends car that I did for a large car show in the Cincinnati area called the Cavalcade of Customs. At first I wasn't sure what I wanted to do as far as how much of a correction because my friend left it up to me due to the deal I was giving him, but being the perfectionist I am when it comes to car detailing I couldn't very well put it into a large car show with a sub par detail could I? After washing and claying the car I did my test spot and after reading Mike Phillips The Art of Detailing I went with the least agressive product I had being Menzerna PO85RD and my rotary with a finishing pad... Amazingly with the softness of Subaru paint it pulled out pretty much every imperfection and left an outstanding shine!! I didn't get great before pictures, but I have tons and tons of afters!

It isn't yet but he is trying to get a half clip from an STI Forester to do the full swap right hand drive and all. I'll post some engine pics in a little bit

There you go he had the intake powder coated red himself so its not the actual STI one.

Wow real nice job making that car shine.

I love the STI Forester's and it looks as if hes doing a great job with his conversion so far. Needs more LOW ! lol

Is that your car next to his at the show?

No lol its another his although its almost identical

I have been trying to find something that would REALLY bring out the silver paint, and after seeing this, i think i will be going with the menzerna kit and seal it with the wolfgang sealant!

I tried Blacklight out on a black Audi A4 I did. It was already in fantastic shape but Blacklight made it look like it was dipped in ink!

At first I really wasnt a fan of it, but now I realize it isn't a miracle worker so you have to make the paint look good on its own and it just really amps it up from there!
