All,

I just picked up a 2008 Jetta to use to go back and forth from the train station every day while I wait for my new car to arrive (whenever BMW decides I'm allowed to have it.) Overall, the car is in pretty good shape. There are some defects and swirls on every panel. I'm going to go to work with the M105/205 combo and my Flex 3401 to bring the paint back a bit. I've had great success with 205 and the Force Hybrid while pad. Can any of you offer me some guidance on selecting the gray or orange with the M105?

Thanks,
Jay

Go with the Orange. It offers plenty enough cut with a compound or a polish, or even an AIO.

The gray is really dense and hard and I don't think you'll like the "buffing experience" with it. I don't. Never use them.

If I want extra cut with any of the BEAST tools, I use the RUPES Coarse Wool Polishing Pad. This one,
